This lovely picture book is about Jane Goodall, the famous zoologist. This book tells the story of Jane as a child and her love of animals and science. It's a great story about following your dreams as you see Jane follow hers into becoming a zoologist. This book also features biographical information and photographs of Jane Goodall.
Press Here by Herve Tullet
This book I was told about and is a really fun book. This books requires the reader to press the dots as the book progresses. By pushing on the dots one becomes two and so on. But it takes turns such as on one page by pressing the yellow dots the lights go out. It's a great book to play with when waiting in the doctors office or before dinner time.

Interrupting Chicken by David Ezra SteinOkay so maybe this book didn't come into the library in May but it's definitely worth mentioning. This book tells the story of Papa chicken telling baby chicken a bedtime story except every time baby chicken interrupts. He doesn't just interrupt he changes the story! This is a very funny book and one that will appeal to kids in kindergarten and up.
