The War at Ellsmere

The War at Ellsmere by Faith Erin Hicks is a really fun graphic novel.



Juniper, Jun for short, is the newest student at Ellsmere Academy, a private school for rich girls. She is just trying to make it through with good grades, she's not interested in making friends.


Her roomate Cassie balances out Jun's moods with her upbeat and quirky attitude. She becomes friends with Jun and they end up helping each other with school assignments.


There is someone who doesn't like Jun though and has made it her personal mission to be mean to her. Emily, the queen bee of the school, is trying every trick to be mean to Jun.


Can Jun last out the year at Ellsmere with evil Emily?
